StarCraft is one of the most popular science fiction video games. The game’s events are set in a science fiction universe. The said universe was created by Blizzard Entertainment. This causes the rise of a militant group, the Sons of Korhal. The game begins when in December 2499, an alien race known as the Protoss with an advanced technology makes contact with the exiles on Koprulu sector. They destroy a Confederate colony without any warning. Then it is discovered by the exiles that there is a second race by the name of Zerg, which is comprised of insectoid aliens that is infesting the surface of the Koprulu sector colonies. Then they come to know that the Protoss are destroying the colonies to prevent the Zerg from populating the area. This causes a three way war and humans, Protosses and Zergs start to battle for survival.This setting makes StarCraft a truly unique experience in sci-fi video gaming.
